Parkview invites you to attend one of our four Easter services. Enjoy our choir, orchestra, large-cast drama, communion, and a few extras you will not want to miss. Childcare is also available. In addition, deaf interpretation will be provided at our Saturday, 6:00p.m., and Sunday, 10:00a.m. services. Guests of Parkview will also receive a free gift just for attending one of our services. Potent Quoteables

I don't really don't watch Jeopardy, but I've seen it a few times to know that one of the favorite re-occuring categories is "Potent Quotables." Here are some potent quoteables I found on the subject of worship.

God will manifest Himself in direct proportion to our PASSION for Him. -Jim Cymbala

Worship rises or falls with our concept of God. -A. W. Tozer

We sing in worship to engage and express our affections. There is no other reason to sing. If we aren’t dealing with our affections in worship, we might as well just read the lines of the songs dryly together in paragraph form without any music. We worship with music to because God has created music with a certain nature where it tends to move our affections deeply. -Jonathan Edwards

God first seeks devotion to Him in the hidden place–worship when no one else is watching. -Matt Redman

A man can no more diminish God’s glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, ‘darkness’ on the walls of his cell. -C.S. Lewis

The cause of Christ pumping away in our veins should cause extraordinary praise to the Father. -Darlene Zschech

How in the world can we worship God in a way that is exciting & passionate & moving if we do not know anything about Him? . . . How can the heart really respond to that which it does not know? . . . the more we understand the revelation God has given us about Himself, the more we ought to be moved to worship & praise Him in response. -R. C. Sproul

The most valuable thing the Psalms do for me is to express the same delight in God which made David dance. -C.S. Lewis

Here's a few shots of this week's construction in the worship center. The electricians are adding can lighting to the church that will be dimmable from our tech booth. This will create an environment better suited towards worship.
